This bean from a region in Costa Rica that is famous for its unique acidity. Originally founded by the late pioneer coffee grower for the Palamichal region, Don Manual Rojas Arias, this coffee farm is now run by his sister Don Romelia. The arm claims the best prices in Costa Rica as its is considered the gold standard for Strictly Hard Bean coffee (SHB). This coffee farm also practices the European Preparation (EP) method, which indicates that after the milling process, the coffee goes through an additional round of sorting to remove any defective beans and foreign material.
This bean has a bright acidity to it, and the light roast in particular packs a punch.
Cupping notes: Milk chocolate, citrus, caramel, green apple with a bright acidity and creamy body.
